about me

My name is Nicholas and I’m currently working at Boeing as a software developer. I’m passionate about software because it turns ideas into reality. Impact far beyond myself.

This north star had me develop an appetite for building things at scale, acquired through working and past experiences at HSBC, Aquanow and Revenue Monster. I also worked at the UBC Visual Cognition Lab, creating software to research human perception/attention in data visualizations.

I sometimes code for fun; an outlet to turn my own ideas into something amazing. Not everyone shares the same enthusiasm however, I’ve never quite figured out why.

what’s this?

This is my favorite Pokémon character, Porygon, the first artificial Pokémon to be made completely of source code. It was what put the topic of computer programming on my radar from an early age, and was what inspired this website's color scheme.
